How we handle your information.
This page is maintained by Whitmore Painting to answer common questions about how we collect and protect the information you share when you request a quote. It is editable content written by us — not an independent certification or third-party audit.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form on this site, you provide your name, phone number, email address, the type of project you're planning, and any details you choose to share. We do not ask for payment information through this site.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell personal information.
How we use it
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, schedule a site visit, prepare a quote, and follow up on the project you described. If you'd like us to stop contacting you, reply to any message from us or email info@whitmorepainting.ca.
How it's stored and protected
Quote submissions are stored in our managed backend, which is hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest provided by the platform.
Access to submitted quote information is restricted to authorised Whitmore Painting staff accounts. Ordinary site visitors and casual sign-ups cannot read other customers' submissions.
Estimates, invoicing & QuickBooks
When we prepare your estimate or invoice, your name, contact details, service address, and job and pricing details are processed in our estimating software and, when you book, in Intuit QuickBooks Online so we can issue invoices and receive payments.
Payment card details are entered directly with the payment processor (Intuit) and are never stored on our systems.
Retention
We keep quote-request information for as long as it's reasonably useful to follow up on your project and maintain our business records. You can ask us to delete the information you submitted by emailing the address below.
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to: tell you what information we have on file for you, correct it, or delete it. We'll honour reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Insurance & on-site practices
Whitmore Painting is fully insured and WSIB covered. On site, our crews follow the access and safety expectations agreed with you or the builder before work begins.
